Two new hires at Torys Montréal

As reported on February 15 by Droit-inc.com, the new Torys Montréal office is in hiring mode ... and has just finalized recruiting two new, young and talented lawyers.

Starting April 15 Antoine Brylowski and Geneviève Bertrand will open the Torys Montréal office at Place Ville-Marie. The two lawyers will practice in litigation.

Mr. Brylowski is currently part of the litigation group at McCarthy Tétrault. His practice areas cover civil and commercial litigation, including professional responsibility and medical malpractice.

He earned his law degree from the University of Montréal in 2009. He was called to the Quebec Bar in 2010. Mr. Brylowski is a member of the Canadian Bar Association and Young Lawyers Association of Montréal.

Geneviève Bertrand has been working as an investigator for L’Autorité des marchés financiers since March 2012. She formerly worked at McCarthy, where she practiced in litigation for five years, from 2007 to 2012.

Ms. Bertrand earned a specialized bachelor’s degree in anthropology and completed her legal studies from McGill University in 2006.
